Christmas is only two days away and I was thinking about all the wonderful things that has happened to me this past year.
~JANUARY~
My now FiancĂ© and I celebrated our 7th year anniversary of dating. We both met each other in high school in grade eight became friends and than we started dating in grade eleven. Matthew and I couldn’t be happier.
~MAY~
For the very first time I got to go to Whistler with Matthew’s family on Mother’s Day. It was so beautiful there. We have so many beautiful places in British Columbia and I have to say Whistler has got to be one of my favorites i’m so lucky to live in a beautiful country like Canada.
I got to go kayaking with my mom and that was pretty awesome.
I also did my first Equine Canada Para Equestrian Video Competition. I was so excited and nervous but thanks to my great riding instructor for all her help I couldn’t of done it without all her encouragement, confidence and coaching. I got 1st place in my group and I couldn’t be more happy, excited and grateful.
~JULY~
Matthew and I got engaged on Canada Day in White Rock BC. We couldn’t be happier we are both excited about getting married.
My mom and I drove up to Merritt BC to spend the long weekend with my nana for the Merritt Rockin River Music Festival. All of the music was fantastic. I had a great time spending time with my mom and nana.
~SEPTEMBER~
I was lucky enough to go with my friend Jennifer to See Keith Urban and Dallas Smith perform at Rogers Arena in Vancouver BC. Nothing like getting to see live music.
~OCTOBER~
Matthew was lucky enough to get tickets to go see the Vancouver Giants from his work. We got to and i got to meet some of his coworkers.
I started my blog. I’m still learning about blogging and I’m looking forward to do more of it next year.
~NOVEMBER~
I was lucky enough because my grandparents bought me a ticket to join them my mom and my aunt to see Terri Clark perform in Mission BC. That was a pretty special night.
Matthew did a talk at Rogers Arena for the staff and they gave him two tickets to go to the Vancouver Canucks game but unfortunately he was out of town so he gave me the tickets and I took my friend Kristen. We both had a great time. I finally got to see them win a game at Rogers Arena.
~DECEMBER~
Tried skating again i got to skate on a pound with Matthew’s family and their friends. It wasn’t a very good experience for me but at least they had a great time.
Now I’m looking forward to spending time with Matthew for Christmas Eve. Than Christmas day I get to spend time with his family in the morning and mine for Christmas dinner.
I’m so greatful for my health, Matthew, my family and everything that has happened to me this past year. I’m looking forward for 2017 I think next year is going to be even better. Wishing everyone happy, healthy, safe and Merry Christmas.
