It’s been a few days now since i got home from my trip. Still fighting my cold and a little bit of jet lag. There’s nothing like coming home from a great trip and being able to sleep in your own bed. I had a great time in Europe and I can’t wait to explore more of it in my future. Here are my highlights from my trip.

Prague Â
My Light Hights from Prague were definitely The Palace getting to walk inside it and getting to see the beautiful Church inside it was pretty amazing. There’s not much else that i could say about the palace other than i was completely blown away how beautiful it was. The Charles Bridge was great with all of the different statues and it had an incredible view of the city of Prague. Old Town Square was great as well getting to see all different kinds of the shops and getting to try all kinds of different foods. The last thing in Prague for me was the toy store that we walked in. It had three floors and each floor there was different toys. It had a slide that you could go on on the top floor. A Carousel that you could ride on, A Huge rocket ship, mini go carts and lots of super hero figurines. It definitely blows Toys R Us out of the water for sure.

Salzburg
Well what can i not say about being in Salzburg i loved everything about being there. Doing the Sound Of Music Tour was amazing i loved being able to go see where they filmed that movie. After all The Sound Of Music is my favourite movie of all time. Everything about the tour was awesome it was even better than i thought it would be. Getting to go outside of Salzburg to see the Countryside was unbelieveable. The Mountains sure reminded me of home they were like something off of a postcard that’s how beautiful they were. The Mirabell Gardens were so breathtaking. Getting to walk around the fountain, the staircase and going through the pathway where they shot Do-Re-Mi was so unreal. The fortress was pretty incredible as well learning about all the history and the view from the very top was so incredible. I really enjoyed getting to walk around Salzburg Old town square to do some shopping, trying all kinds of different foods and just the experience being there was unbelieveable. I would definitely go back there in a heart beat for sure.Â

GrazÂ
So for Graz it was all about the Special Olympics World Winter Games. The opening ceremonies was awesome getting to see all of the athletes walk in from all over the world was awesome seeing how happy they all were was great. I loved being there watching my fiance Matthew compete doing what he loves. Getting to watch him win a silver medal for his 1000 and also beating his personal best by 5 seconds was incredible. Then getting to see him at his medal ceremony i honestly couldn’t keep it together i was so proud of him.  I really enjoyed getting to watch all of the different sports as well. Also the family reception for team canada was great as well getting to see all of the athletes and meeting their families as well.Â

Vienna
For Vienna My high lights were The palace, Old Town Square and the Spanische Hofreitschule. The Palace was unreal. we did a tour inside the palace then we also walked around the palace grounds. It had a zoo, greenhouses and lots of places to have coffee and food. Old town was nice lots of nice places to go out to eat and shopping, I really enjoyed The Spanische Hofreitschule show that was like nothing that i’ve ever scene before. they had a beautiful arena that they get to use.
