Hey Everyone

Hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas break spending time with your loved ones. There’s nothing better being with family for the holidays. This year has had many ups and downs. This year has made me really take a step back and think about things that matter to me the most, like my family, my friends and not to worry about the little things in life. Looking forward for the new year for a fresh new start. Anyways here’s what happened to me this year.

~January~

I got to meet Alisha Newton who plays Georgie Fleming Morris on my favourite tv show called Heartland.

My sister in law past away she was like the sister that i always wanted to have.

Matthew’s birthday/8th Anniversary.

~February~

Nothing really happened this month. very low key was still devastated about my sister in law being gone.

~March~

Went to Prague for a few days with my in laws before heading to Austria to watch my fiance Matthew compete for speed skating.

Went to three different parts of Austria Salzburg, Graz & Vienna

Salzburg was to see the sound of music and tour around the city

Graz was great getting to see my fiance Matthew compete for the Special Olympics World Winter Games for speed skating. He did very well and i couldn’t be more proud of him.

Vienna was our last stop to tour around the city before heading back home.

~April~

Lost my dear Auntie Thelma which was another devastating loss for my family

~May~

My birthday even though i didn’t really feel like celebrating it.

~June~

Saw Dean Brody live in abbotsford with my mom, nana and my auntie pearl.

Got a tattoo partly to honor my beautiful sister in law but also i wanted to get it because of my Kabuki Syndrome.

~July~

Matthew and I went to Victoria to visit his grandma for the canada day long weekend.

Celebrated one year of our engagement

~August~

Got our engagement photos taken

~September~

This was a bit of a difficult month.

Had another death in our family my Great grandmother past away.

Amanda’s birthday was very hard for all of us.

~October~

Got to see my girlfriends a lot this month which was nice

~November~

Matthew and I went to Toronto because he was the keynote speaker for the limitless gala and we got to see the winners for the Special Olympics Canada 2017 awards.

~December~

A family friend of my family died.

Christmas was difficult to celebrate.

I am very thankful for all of my wonderful family, friends and my health. This year has been hard but i am very grateful for all the love and support from my family and friends.  Also this year Matthew and i finally started doing wedding plans and finally have set a date. We are both looking forward to get married September 2018. My goal for 2018 is to take better care of myself. I hope that everyone has a safe and happy new year!
