Hello Everyone,
We are at the near end of 2025 where did this year go. I feel like this year has gone by way too fast. I am truly grateful for this year. Two amazing things that happened to me and my family this year. The first thing was back in February my younger brother and my sister in law welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world. My little nephew Dakota has brought our family so much joy this year.
Becoming an aunt has always been on my the top of my list. It has been such a great experience getting to watch my nephew grow. Getting watch him experience things for the first time makes my heart so full.
The second thing that happened to me this year was finally getting to publish my memoir. I had been working so hard on it for the last five years. It was a dream come true. I had it all finished by April. At the beginning of this year I wasn’t even sure that it would be a possibility to have it completed. I had the manuscript all finished by the end of last year but it was just designing my cover and all those finishing touches that I was working on.
Being able to write my manuscript for my memoir was one thing but everything else was a new experience for me. I am very grateful that I had help with the editing because without that help I wouldn’t have been able to finish my book. Now that my memoir is published, I am really looking forward to writing more books. I’m not sure what I am going to do next but I do have lots of different ideas.
As I sit here writing this blog post, I have Christmas music going on in the background and all our Christmas decorations up. Enjoying this last weekend before Christmas. Looking forward to spending time with family over the holidays. 2025 was a good year and to end it off with my two favourite new titles Auntie and Author.
